Essential oil-based throat spray to boost respiratory health

A study on a proprietary essential oil-based formula throat spray on lung health was carried out in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the effects of Teramune Bronchus, that is a product which has marketing authorization in the United States as a dietary supplement for respiratory health.

The blend included essential oils of pine (Pinus sylvestris), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus polybractea cineol) & (Eucalyptus citriodora), ravensara (Ravensara (or Ravintsara) aromatica), cypress (Cupressus sempervirens), hyssop (Hyssopus offcinalis), thyme (Thymus vulgaris thymoliferum), sage (Salvia sclarea), dill (Anethum graveolens), rosemary (Rosmarinus offcinalis camphoripherum), and bay laurel (Laurus nobilis).

In our Phyto-Aroma News section Dr Péter Babulka, our editorial partner, brings us interesting research excerpts from scientific journals, and you will find the details and conclusions of this exciting study carried out during a respiratory virus-induced pandemic to explore the effects of using essential oil-based throat spray to boost respiratory health.
