Aroma Kitchen: Pumpkin Soup

In the spring issue of AROMATIKA we introduced a new series of inspiring food recipes prepared by Vanessa Jean Boscarello Ovens. Vanessa’s guiding force is her dream of bringing people together, healing emotional and physical pain through sound, nutrition and aromatherapy. Giving people the gift of returning to a life of love, health of spirit, mind and body and returning to our natural state of joy has found living expression through Food Alchemy.

We are now sharing with you one of Vanessa’s nourishing aromatic Food Alchemy soup creations from the fall issue of AROMATIKA, with a bit of accompanying advice that goes like this: “This recipe creates a pot of deeply nourishing soul food. Serve with or without fresh bread or crackers. Sometimes I use Jap pumpkin; other times, I use butternut. It honestly depends on what is growing in our garden. I love to eat seasonal, organic, and, where possible, homegrown produce. Serve yourself a nourishing bowl and enjoy!”
