Deep Dive on Rheumatoid Arthritis with Dr. Timothy Miller

Updated: May 14, 2022

If one can stand out in making a learning process enjoyable and fun, naturopathic physician, acupuncturist, and aromatherapist Dr. Timothy Miller is here to entertain us when diving in a vast array of therapeutic methods. Lucky all who will have a chance to attend botanica2022 and specifically this excellent workshop with Timothy Miller: Deep Dive on Rheumatoid Arthritis: A holistic and integrative approach.

Timothy Miller is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, OR. Dr. Tim is a chemistry nerd. He is fascinated by the chemistry found in the natural world. Fueled by the abundant, potent, and unique components within aromatherapy, Dr. Miller has sought to understand how essential oils act on the body and identify which clinical applications are best incorporated into practice.

Dr. Tim believes deeply in the naturopathic principle of Docere (doctor as teacher) and loves to teach. He is an international speaker, workshop leader, and contributing author. He believes learning should be fun and makes every attempt to engage his students in a profound and meaningful way. He is the owner and founder of Naturopathic CE, an online natural medicine learning platform, where he offers a variety of aromatherapy and naturopathic courses, including topics like AromaChemistry, AromaPharmacokinetics, and Chakra Healing Using Essential Oils. There are nearly 50 other instructors on the site including Rhiannon Lewis, Ann Harman, Marco Valussi, and Susan Parker.

Dr. Tim co-authored a great article with Dr. Nancy Scarlett, which was published in the 2020 Autumn issue (7.3.1.) of Aromatika Magazine titled ‘Melaleuca: An Essential Oil Heavy-Hitter in the Battle with MRSA Tea Tree Oil & Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus’. The article discusses the well- and lesser known challenges of the world-wide phenomena of overprescribing antibiotics during the last several decades that has led to the serious problem of antibiotic-resistant organisms and resultant infections. You can read the full article with research results and case studies on the potent antimicrobial actions of Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) essential oil and alike that may be a viable and effective alternative for treatment.

Educate yourself, your family, your clients or students and help bring forward Dr. Tim’s efforts to raise awareness of both prescribers and consumers. Check out our 2020 Autumn issue of Aromatika (7.3.1.) and other rather valuable back issues and download options.
